BARS Magazine
BARS Magazine is a globally informed, India-centred, multi-generational platform that turns road-safety knowledge into print and digital formats.
Send your article, field story or research to the BARS Magazine — paste it in or upload it as a PDF / Word file.
BARS brings government, industry and civil society onto one platform: a verified repository of research, laws and data, a directory of organisations working on road safety, and a network that shows who works on which theme — so proven work spreads instead of being repeated.
Organisations can join by registering, collaborating on initiatives, and participating in knowledge sharing and district-level implementation programs.
Every organisation on BARS lists its city and state, so the directory shows who already works near you. Local teams can report black spots, find partners for a theme on the Network page and reuse verified insights from the repository.
Yes. Manufacturers, insurers and CSR programmes register under the Bazaar pillar. They can publish their road-safety research and programmes, list events, and find NGO and government partners on the Network page.

484 people died on India's roads every day in 2024. Most of these deaths are preventable. On the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, deaths fell 58% when engineering, enforcement, emergency care and engagement worked together. The BARS pledge is how we commit to scaling what works.
